Analytics stays off until you agree, and refusing is as easy as accepting. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser.
Until you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics is not loaded at all: your browser does not contact Google for it and no analytics cookie is set. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal.
