After her entry into the prestigious Hôtel de Rambouillet, Madeleine de Scudéry soon established her own gathering: the *Société du samedi*, or Saturday Society. Here, under the pseudonym Sapho, she cultivated a unique space where conversations flowed, ideas were exchanged, and consensus was valued over mere argument. She became known as the first "bluestocking" of France, revered for her wit and her pioneering approach to discourse.
