Andrew Schally (November 30, 1926 – October 17, 2024) was a Polish-American endocrinologist. He co-received the 1977 Nobel Prize for discovering the hypothalamus's control over hormone production. Later, he pioneered GnRH-based treatments for advanced prostate cancer.
