• Session cookie— keeps you logged in while you manage your memorials. Expires when you close the browser or sign out.
• CSRF token— protects form submissions from cross-site forgery.
• Locale preference (NEXT_LOCALE) — remembers your chosen language.

Analytics (with consent)

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, hosted by us. No third-party tracker receives your data. Umami aggregates page views and does not create individual user profiles. The script is only loaded when you accept the cookie banner.

Advertising (not set today)

We do not currently set advertising cookies. When we eventually enable display ads on notable-life biographical pages, we will:

• Gate the ad network behind a Consent Management Platform (IAB TCF v2.2 signal).
• Update this page with the ad network’s name and link to their cookie list.
• Ensure family memorialsnever serve advertising cookies to visitors — that content is permanently ad-free.

Affiliate tracking (partner-side, not ours)

Some partner links in the creator dashboard may set an affiliate-tracking cookie on the partner’s own domain after you click them. We do not set these cookies. See the Affiliate Disclosure for the current list of partners.
