Anna Eleanor Roosevelt (October 11, 1884 – November 7, 1962) was an American diplomat and activist. As the longest-serving First Lady, she redefined the role with her public engagement. Post-White House, she led the drafting of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights at the UN, earning her the title 'First Lady of the World'.
