George Minot (1885–1950) was United States best known for American physician.
George Richards Minot (December 2, 1885 – February 25, 1950) was an American physician and medical researcher. He shared the 1934 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his pioneering work on pernicious anemia. His own survival from diabetes, due to the timely discovery of insulin, allowed him to make this life-saving contribution.
