Roger Joseph Zelazny (May 13, 1937 – June 14, 1995) was an American science fiction and fantasy writer. Best known for his Chronicles of Amber series, he masterfully blended mythology with modern and futuristic settings, earning three Nebula Awards and six Hugo Awards. His work continues to influence generations of fantasy and science fiction authors.
