David Baltimore (1938–2025) was United States best known for American biologist and Nobel laureate.
David Baltimore (March 7, 1938 – September 6, 2025) was an American biologist and Nobel laureate. He discovered reverse transcriptase, revolutionizing understanding of genetic information flow and aiding in cancer and HIV research. Baltimore also founded the influential Whitehead Institute.
