Clifford Shull (1915–2001) was United States best known for American physicist.
Clifford Glenwood Shull (September 23, 1915 – March 31, 2001) was an American physicist. He co-developed neutron scattering, a technique that allows scientists to precisely map atomic structures within materials. His foundational work, notably at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, earned him the 1994 Nobel Prize in Physics. He greatly advanced our understanding of material properties.
