Carl Ferdinand Cori (1896–1984) was Czech Republic best known for Czech Nobel prize laureate and scientist.
Carl Ferdinand Cori (December 5, 1896 – October 20, 1984) was an Austrian-American biochemist and pharmacologist. With his wife Gerty Cori, he shared the 1947 Nobel Prize for discovering how the body metabolizes glucose and glycogen for energy. Their work, including the Cori cycle, significantly advanced carbohydrate metabolism research.
