Michel Legrand (1932–2019) was France best known for French film score composer.
Michel Jean Legrand (February 24, 1932 – January 26, 2019) was a French composer, conductor, and jazz pianist. He was celebrated for his more than 200 film scores, including <i>The Umbrellas of Cherbourg</i> and Oscar-winning <i>The Thomas Crown Affair</i>. His melodies wove deeply into cinema, jazz, and popular music.
