Michel Ney (1769–1815) was Germany best known for French general (born 1769–1815).
Michel Ney (January 10, 1769 – December 7, 1815) was a French military officer and Marshal of the Empire. Known as "the bravest of the brave," he distinguished himself repeatedly in the Napoleonic Wars, particularly during the grueling Russian retreat. His complex loyalties led to his execution after Napoleon's final defeat.
